When I heard this wonderful news I thought I died and went to InuYasha heaven!!! Now the only thing left for Viz to accomplish is to Re-Release the Urusei Yatsura and Rumic Theater or Rumic World Triology manga series and tell me the release date for RINNE volume 1. Keep up the good work Viz!!! p.s. it would be nice to get the IY "deluxe" box sets at the reduced price at $50 bucks. Please and Thank You.

Could you please retain the honorifics and Japanese sound effects in these upcoming Inuyasha manga releases? It looks so much better that way! ^^ thanks!

Idk what to say!I love Takahashi-Sans work ^__^ I have at least one or more books of ALL her series my favs Are all of them!I cant wait for RINNE to come out!And i also wanted to say why did u give UruseiYatsura the shaft u should have continued more!I know i only like Urusei Yatsura for a year but i sobed when it ended on vol.8 -_-!Anywho RYOGA,LUM,ATARU,MANA,YUTA,AND GODAI ROCK :0

Thankyou VIZ!! This is they way manga is meant to be! Unflipped in its original format! ^^ Because the flipped format has been such an eyesore, I've opted to collect the Japanese volumes. While I still plan to finish that collection, I'm now torn between collecting the English volumes 38-56 and wait for VIZBIG to complete my set, or simply waiting for VIZBIG for the entire series! I wonder how long a wait between each VIZBIG...I can't wait to collect Inuyasha in English unflipped! Glomps for everyone at VIZ! xD

I want to add my voice to the many which have asked that Urusei Yatsura be translated in its entirety. As for Rin-ne, a really promising beginning to the new series. I've been waiting for months and have not been disappointed. I am upset that Golden Week had to push back the next release, but that's always been the case, so que sera sera.

I love Takahasi-Sensei's work. I just fell head over heels for Ranma. That was my "Baptism" into the whole Manga thing. I just loved the wonderful animation and drawing in this series. This series also introduced me to a food that I can't go more than a week without-Okonomiyaki-Japanese "pizza". Plus all of the fun quirky sex and animal changes tickled my fancy and the whole 36 volume set now happosai...I mean happily sets on my bookshelf amonst her other Jems-Maison Ikkoku,One Pound Gospel, and Mermaid saga. Just coming off being slayed and thoroughly enjoying deathnote, it is interesting that in the first chapter of Rin-Ne there is not a Shinigami that just stepped out of a rave or Hot Topic, but a very handsome Shinigami. I am very enthused to see where Rin-Ne goes. Seat belt fastened, key in the ignition, Takahashi -Sensei I am ready to have another fantastic adventure with you and your wonderful and crazy cast of new friends on this great new endeavour.

Oh, one more thing Viz, just a thought: since you think it's really important to use Japanese sound effects in your ani-manga version of Inuyasha, perhaps it would be a good idea to keep the original sound effects in Takahashi's original manga? Just a thought ;)

It's a shame that Inu won't stay flipped throughout its run. Consistency would be nice. Does Viz really think that flipping kept it from attaining a bigger audience? Is Viz changing it to get fanboys to buy Inuyasha twice? Or is it just doing the unflipping to shut up the manga snobs?

Thank you, Viz! This is something I've been waiting for, and I'm so glad you've finally done it. I'm also hoping that when re-releasing the series unflipped, you go back and fix any right-left translations mixups and also make things like attack names consistent between volumes. Regardless, this is excellent news and I can't wait for November.

As much as I prefer my manga unflipped, to have most of my Inuyasha collection flipped and the rest unflipped is annoying and makes no sense. You've done most of it this way, please, just finish it so the set will match properly. Love the website and all. But this news kind of ruin my night.

Cool. It's nice to see that Takahashi-San's Inu-Yasha will finally be released the normal manga way. Now... If only they could re-release Urusei Yatsura. Lol

I guess the community's petition for unflipped Inuyasha finally paid off. I've heard so many Viz execs tell me flatly that Inuyasha would remain flipped until the end. I guess they were lying.
